Rosemarie (Rosie) Bielan (nee Quattromini), 82, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on April 29th, 2021. Rosie was born May 1, 1938 to Salvatore and Marie Quattromini. She was the 7th born of 10 children. After attending William L. Dickinson HS in Jersey City, she worked as a telephone operator of NJ Bell. She also worked at the White Mana as a carhop where she met her husband Robert (Bob) Bielan.

Rosie was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, who cared deeply for all modeled that to her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her siblings, husband, children and grandchildren. She loved being at the Jersey Shore and especially like walking on the boardwalk, funnel cakes and crabbing with her family. 

She loved sports and coached Bayonne PAL girls' basketball teams too many championships in the 1980s. Rosie loved all children. Atlantic City, playing skilo and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Rosie's warmth, love concern for all those she came to know leaves a void in her memory.

Left to mourn Rosie's passing is her loving husband Robert of over 50 years, daughter Judy and husband Paul Somers, sons Thomas and wife Lauren and Robert and wife Filomena. Rosie was blessed with seven grandchildren: Tommy, David, Jonathan, Jade, Taylor, Kayla and Ava.

She is survived by sisters Josephine Boyle, Teresie Scott, Sandy McKechnie, brothers Joseph and Frankie Quattromini. Along with siblings she is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, great and grand nieces and nephews three goddaughters: Stephanie Reiss Bruno, Dian Scott Fini and Barbara Boyle. She is preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Marie Quattromini; and sisters Annie Gourley, Francie D'Agosta, Chicky Riess and Fanny Buttiglieri. 

Visitation will be held at Dzikowski Pierce & Levis Funeral Home, 24-32 E 19th St, Bayonne, Monday, May 3rd from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 4th from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. immediately before internment at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
