Martha Jean (Maciorowski) Shostak

Martha Jean (nee Maciorowski) Shostak, R.N., passed away on February 22nd, 2018 at Bayonne Medical Center. She graduated Bayonne School of Nursing, and worked at Bayonne hospital for 45 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and visiting Lake George, New York. She was an active member of the club, Young at Heart. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Walter John Shostak; her parents, Walter and Sophie Maciorowski; her siblings, Walter and Thaddeus Maciorowski, and Dolores Mullin. She is survived by her children, Walter and Mark Shostak, and Catherine and her husband Kevin Kissane; her grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew and his wife Brianna, and David Shostak, Mary, Luke, and Liam Kissane; and her great-grandchild, Gia Shostak. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 27th from 4-8pm at the Dzikowski, Pierce and Levis funeral home, 24 East 19th Street, Bayonne. Funeral Mass will be February 28th at 10am at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 326 Ave. C, Bayonne, NJ. Private cremation to follow mass services. Interment will take place at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
